Accidental Damage Protection includes repairing devices that were damaged accidentally (it does not cover intentional damage or lost/stolen Chromebooks).

Unpaid technology fees will result in paying the cost of repairs on any damaged Chromebook (between $85 and $359).

There is no waiver application this year. Your school's technology fee is now tied to the National School Lunch Program. If you see "exempt" on your fee in IC, your student's technology fee has automatically been waived.
