At the beginning of each school year, Parents/Guardians of students who attend North Penn School District should verify and update their contact information through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
Keeping this information up to date in Infinite Campus ensures that teachers and administrators have the correct contact for parents/guardians in the event of a school emergency. This portal also has release agreements and acknowledgements relating to our digital technology usage and our Acceptable Use Policy. New this year, under the supervision of a teacher, Gemini AI and Notebook LM will be available for student use. This version of Gemini is a walled garden for our students to be able to safely explore this AI tool. Students under 18 have a version with fine-tuned guardrails that will trigger policies to help prevent inappropriate responses and provide tips on using generative AI responsibly. When a student asks a fact-based question, Gemini will automatically run its double-check response feature. Data entered into this version is not human-reviewed or used to train AI models.
